Meydan Ümraniye Shopping Centre

Opened in 2007, Meydan Ümraniye Shopping Centre includes nearly 70 stores featuring many important brands such as IKEA, Media Markt and Real. Meydan Ümraniye Shopping Centre holds a LEED (leadership in energy and environmentally friendly design) certification of USA origin. The project was awarded with 2008 European Community Environmental Award Türkiye First Prize, 2008 ULI Europe Award for Excellence, 2008 Best of Europe Property Award for its being environmentally friendly and sustainable property, ArkiPARC Property Awards First Prize in Shopping Centres category, 2009 ICSC Shopping Centre Resource Award, 2010 ICSC Best of the Best in the sustainability category. The project was developed by METRO PROPERTIES and sold to Gülaylar Group in 2013.
